David Dunn, MD, is currently Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Child Neurology at the Indiana University School of Medicine. He also acts as Director of the Riley Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic as well as Training Director of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Triple Board Program, also at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Dunn received his medical degree from the School of Medicine at Tulane University. He completed his internship in medicine at the Charity Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana, after which he began residencies in pediatrics and neurology, eventually becoming chief resident of neurology at Tulane University. Dr. Dunn completed a fellowship in pediatric neurology at the Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City and his residency in Child Psychiatry at Indiana University in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Dr. Dunn has been a member of numerous committees and professional organizations, including the Child Neurology Society, American Academy of Neurology, American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, American Psychiatric Association, and the American Epilepsy Society. Dr. Dunn has been the principal and co-investigator in 18 funded grants. He has also given over 90 presentations throughout the world. Dr. Dunn has authored and co-authored over 90 articles, books, and book chapters as well as writing over 70 abstracts, reviews, and letters.
